Weekly Recap: The Flash, The Blackening, Asteroid City & More!

It's Father's Day weekend, leading into Juneteenth, and there are a variety of films that feel fitting in that regard. The big release, this week, is The Flash, which is fun enough and delivers for a big-screen superhero flick. Also out is The Blackening, which delivers on the laughs as well as what it's getting at as far as Black culture is concerned. Wes Anderson's Asteroid City is another winner as well. I have reviews for all of these and more. Plus, a few new podcasts this week, as we covered Transformers and the Summer of 93 at 30 podcast series continues, along with a guest spot I had on The LAMBcast. So, feel free to check out all these reviews, podcasts, lists, trailers, and other fun. Enjoy, stay safe out there, and thanks for reading!
