Weekly Recap: The 355, A Hero, Most Anticipated Films & More!

When it comes to new mainstream releases in January, expectations never really need to be high. The 355 opens this week, and despite the commendable aspect of putting a group of talented female performers together, it's a bland and forgettable action film. On the plus side, some smaller and international films are entering the field as well. A Hero, one of my favorites of 2021 is out in theaters (on Prime video soon), and I have a review for that film, along with plenty of others.

Also up - another list - my most anticipated films of 2022, which breaks down the year of film releases we know about so far. That joins my other lists covering my favorite films from 2021. Finally, take a listen to our latest podcasts covering Don't Look Up and more.
So, enjoy all of these lists, reviews, and more. Enjoy, stay safe out there, and thanks for reading!
