Out Now Commentary: Silence of the Lambs (1991)

This month’s Out Now with Aaron and Abe commentary track is going to help the lambs stop screaming. Aaron and (briefly) Abe are joined by Brandon Peters, Yancy Berns, and Scott Mendelson to discuss Jonathan Demme’s take on Thomas Harris’ follow-up novel to Red Dragon, 1991’s The Silence of the Lambs, starring Jodie Foster, Scott Glenn, Ted Levine, and Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter. This is the second of our Hannibal commentary series kicking off the first five months of 2021, so get ready. Listen in to hear the group go over the impact this film had as both an incredible crime drama/horror film, as well as an Oscar-winning modern classic.
