Dietz, and Scott Mendelson to discuss Michael Mann’s take on the Thomas
Harris novel Red Dragon – 1986’s Manhunter, starring William
Petersen, Tom Noonan, and Brian Cox as Hannibal Lecktor. This
is the first of our Hannibal commentaries that will be the theme of the first
five months of 2021, so get ready. Listen in to hear the group go over the
impact this film had on the cop thriller/serial killer genre. There’s plenty of
talk about the film, the performances, Mann’s direction, Hannibal, the novel,
