As we approach the holidays (and another American status update suggesting we continue staying indoors), there's certainly a lot available to watch. This week presents a new thriller,  Run , which does its job evoking Hitchcock to some degree. There's the first entry in Amazon Prime's Small Axe  anthology, " Mangrove ," which has plenty of relevance for now. I also have an early review of Ma Rainey's Black Bottom , starring Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman , coming to Netflix in December. There's a number of other movies hitting VOD worth checking out as well.
