Weekly Recap: Bill & Ted, David Copperfield, Centigrade & More!

I delivered the surprise news of my first published Variety article last week. This week, the surprise on me is just how good Bill and Ted Face the Music  ended up being. I have a full review of that, along with another full review of the delightful Personal History of David Copperfield . I'm not recommending going to theaters to see either, but I do think the movies are solid. On top of that, there are a lot of reviews from the past weeks including Centigrade, Get Duked , and more. Additionally, there are a couple of solid podcasts we put together, including our Unhinged  episode. This week's  Out Now with Aaron and Abe  is dealing with road rage. Aaron and Abe are joined by Forbes’ Scott Mendelson to discuss Unhinged , the Russell Crowe thriller, and the first film to be released wide in America since theaters initially shut down. This car-based cat-and-mouse thriller wants to provide a level of entertainment fit for an over-the-top Oscar-winner and the group dig into it. Following the review, the guys also go through some box office talk and thoughts on theaters being open again, along with listener feedback to round out the episode. This week's  Out Now with Aaron and Abe  is pushing some superhero skills. Aaron and Abe are joined by Front Center Mezzanine's Maxwell Haddad to discuss Project Power , starring Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt,  and Dominique Fishback . This Netflix action flick tells the story of individuals who gain superpowers for 5 minutes at a time, due to a drug, and the group goes over how well it utilizes that setup.
