Out Now Commentary: Darkman (1990)
The first of this year’s Out Now with Aaron and Abe horror specials is here and it’s a commentary track! First heading to the world of horror-adjacent cinema, the group goes over Sam Raimi’s Darkman, a Universal Monster Movie wearing the skin of a superhero flick. Aaron and Abe are joined by Brandon Peters and Jim Dietz to discuss the darkly comedic action-horror tribute film, and it’s as fast-paced as the film. Enjoy as the guys go over the origins of this original hero, the casting choices, Raimi’s style, fun anecdotes, facts, and more. Listen as they have plenty of fun tracking the craziness of this film and why it works so well in the way other films like it don’t. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
