Out Now Bonus: It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Pod
This bonus episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is a loose look at recent releases, older films, and a variety of opinions on how we experience movies. Abe is out on assignment this week, but Aaron is here with guests Peter Paras and Yancy Berns to talk all sorts of things. Discussion includes thoughts on this week’s poll question (9:50), and the trailer for Tim Burton’s Dumbo (18:45). There’s also reviews for new releases (starting at 32:08 but this is all pretty scattered) Christopher Robin, The Darkest Minds, McQueen, and The Spy Who Dumped Me. The group talks of older films including It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Jaws: The Revenge, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. And There’s also a lot of debate over how people choose to watch movies, as well as the viability of certain blockbusters and blockbuster models. Plus – Star Wars, as usual with these guys. Get ready for a lot of recap, tangents and banter, with plenty of fun to go with it.
Of course, in addition to this episode, there are previous episodes to be found on the HHWLOD Podcast Network, Stitcher Radio, Spotify, Soundcloud, and at Podomatic for past episodes and some exclusives.
