Weekly Recap: Skyscraper, Eighth Grade & More!

This week's big release finds The Rock taking on Skyscraper. There's also another Hotel Transylvania out there. In limited release, there is lots of good stuff to look for. Eighth Grade is terrific, Sorry To Bother You goes wide, and Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot finds Gus Van Sant back in solid form. At home, you have A Quiet Place, which I didn't review, but it's good enough. There's also my review for The Criterion Collection's The Virgin Spring, which gave me a chance to write about Ingmar Bergman. Lastly, enjoy our really fun Ant-Man and the Wasp podcast. Thanks for reading!

In Theaters Now:

(The Rock vs. The Tower is fun)

(Wonderfully captured)

(Well-acted biopic)

(Wildly ambitious, now in wide release)
