Weekly Recap: Close Encounters, The Best Movies of the Summer & More!

For whatever reason, It is waiting until next week to open, instead of capitalizing off a three-day weekend. Regardless, Close Encounters of the Third Kind is the best release of this week (let alone the year if we're really thinking about it) and it should be an exciting film for anyone to see on the big screen again or for the first time. Additionally, I've written up a whole piece on the best films of the Summer. There are also new reviews for home releases and Preacher. And be sure to check out our great podcasts covering Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and a topic worth exploring regarding millennials and classic films. Enjoy!
