Weekly Recap: Detroit, The Dark Tower & More!

This week has two major releases. The expansion of Kathryn Bigelow's historical thriller Detroit and the debut of The Dark Tower, the 90-minute adaptation of Stephen King's epic book series. There is a lot to admire about one of these films and the other is merely a subpar attempt at something, instead of a great success or an interesting disaster. Additionally, reviews for new home releases, along with a new Preacher review. And be sure to check out the two great podcasts that came out this week, as one involves a solid debate over last week's release and the other features my mom and I talking Get Out. Enjoy!

In Theaters Now:

(One of the best movies of the year)
