Weekly Recap: Newport Beach Film Fest, Lost City of Z & More

This week offered up a mixed set of new releases, but my larger concern is for the 18th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival, which I will be covering for the next week. That said, I will be catching up on Free Fire when I get the chance and will add a review to go with it. The Promise is actually interesting as well, though I'm hearing it's a better film to talk about than to actually see. Still, given the topic that is not often covered in films (Armenian genocide) and the independent nature of the film, I do want to see what it has to offer at some point. Other than that, there are a couple new home releases I have reviews for and another really fun podcast. Enjoy!
